Therapy Intensives for Individuals, Couples or Family Member Pairs

Therapy Intensives for Neurodivergent Individuals, Couples, and Families

Deeper Therapy. More Time. More Meaningful Progress.

When weekly therapy sessions feel too limited for the depth of work you want to do, psychotherapy intensives provide dedicated time and space for deeper exploration, healing, and change. These extended therapy sessions allow you to move beyond surface-level concerns and focus on the underlying patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that are shaping your life.

Our psychotherapy intensives are designed specifically for neurodivergent adults, including autistic adults, adults with ADHD, AuDHD individuals, mixed-neurotype couples, and neurodivergent families. Whether you are seeking individual therapy, couples therapy, or support for a family relationship, intensives offer a focused opportunity to do deeper therapeutic work with greater continuity and intention.

With 2–4 hour sessions tailored to your specific goals, psychotherapy intensives can be used as a complement to ongoing therapy or as a standalone service. This is an opportunity to step into the “deep end of the pool”—creating the time and space needed for meaningful insight, connection, and lasting change.

Psychotherapy Intensives for Neurodivergent Adults, Couples, and Families
Deeper Therapy for Complex Challenges, Relationships, and Life Transitions

Sometimes weekly therapy is not enough time to get to the work that matters most.

Many individuals, couples, and families find that traditional once a week psychotherapy sessions can feel limited—especially when there are complex histories, relationship patterns, communication differences, trauma experiences, or major life transitions to explore. By the time everyone has had the opportunity to share what is happening, there may be little time left to understand the deeper patterns underneath the challenges or create meaningful change.

Psychotherapy intensives offer an extended therapy format designed for deeper exploration, focused healing, and more sustained progress. These longer sessions provide the time and space needed to move beyond addressing only the immediate concerns of the week and begin working with the underlying experiences, patterns, and relationships that shape your life.

Our psychotherapy intensives are specialized for neurodivergent adults, couples, and families, including autistic adults, adults with ADHD, AuDHD individuals, mixed-neurotype couples, and neurodivergent family systems. We understand that neurodivergence can impact communication, emotional regulation, sensory experiences, identity, relationships, burnout, masking, and the ways people navigate the world.

Intensive Therapy Designed for Neurodivergent Experiences

Our approach is neurodivergence-specialized, not simply neurodiversity-affirming. This means our work incorporates specific clinical understanding of autistic adults, ADHD adults, AuDHD individuals, and neurodivergent relationships—not only an appreciation of neurodivergent differences, but an understanding of how neurodivergence intersects with development, attachment, trauma, coping strategies, and relationships.

We use an integrative approach drawing from Jungian depth psychology, existential psychotherapy, narrative coherence, trauma-informed care, and other nervous-system compatibility therapeutic approaches. This allows us to explore both the practical challenges you are facing and the deeper questions underneath them: identity, meaning, values, belonging, relationships, and the patterns that shape how you experience yourself and others.

When Psychotherapy Intensives Can Help

Psychotherapy intensives can be a powerful option for:

Neurodivergent adults seeking deeper individual therapy around identity, burnout, life transitions, relationships, emotional patterns, trauma, or personal growth.

Couples and partners navigating communication challenges, recurring conflict, intimacy concerns, major transitions, or differences in needs and experiences—especially mixed-neurotype relationships involving autistic and/or ADHD partners.

Adult children and parents who want support rebuilding connection, navigating changing roles, creating healthier boundaries, or understanding each other in new ways.

Siblings and family members working through longstanding patterns, conflict, misunderstandings, or relationship transitions.

Neurodivergent families seeking support with communication, understanding, accommodation, and creating more sustainable ways of relating to one another.

What Happens in a Psychotherapy Intensive?

Unlike traditional weekly therapy, an intensive provides uninterrupted time to focus deeply on your goals.

Depending on your needs, we may explore:

The history and experiences contributing to current challenges

Relationship patterns and communication dynamics

Emotional responses and protective adaptations

Neurodivergent identity and self-understanding

Trauma experiences and their impact on relationships and daily life

New ways of approaching challenges with greater self-awareness and flexibility

Psychotherapy intensives start from 2 hour increments ($1000) and can go up to 4, 6 or 8 hours depending on clinical need. This is not an insurance reimbursible service, so it's best to think of it as an investment in the places you are feeling stuckness. Intensive therapy typically range from 2–8 hours and is tailored to the needs of the individual, couple, or family relationship. They can be used as a complement to ongoing therapy or as a standalone service for those seeking a more concentrated therapeutic experience.

If you are looking for intensive therapy for neurodivergent adults, ADHD therapy, autism-informed psychotherapy, AuDHD support, couples therapy intensives, or family therapy intensives, this format may provide the focused time and clinical depth needed to create meaningful change.
